Research has shown that community-based approaches are best for addressing teen issues. Knowledge Equips is focused on several initiatives: Parent Education, Adolescent Education, Sex in the Media and Medical & Factual Accuracy.

Our program is focused on presenting accurate information to help teens understand the intense consequences of risky behavior.

Although 15–24-year-olds represent only one-quarter of the sexually active population, they account for nearly half (9.1 million) of the 18.9 million new cases of STIs each year. (Guttmacher Institute - 2014)
Nearly 50%
